About Angela
I have been painting and drawing for as long as I can remember, enjoying all aspects of art with different mediums and styles. I have a preference for illustrative and detailed work in different scales, using acrylics and oils on canvas painting ceramic/china, greetings cards, furniture - in fact on any surface required!
I studied art at school and then went to art college, studying in mixed media but specialising in textiles, for which I obtained a diploma. During this time I painted mainly for pleasure and for relatives and friends.
I went on to train in nursing and during that time sold a number paintings through the National Trusts flagship store in Victoria, London.
Having finished my career in nursing to bring up my two daughters, I started to undertake commissions and now I have more time to concentrate on painting and illustration.
I have recently converted a barn in my garden into a studio, where I have the freedom to be creative and to take on more bespoke work.
